Term

Power.

The basic political relation between A and B.

Classical
Line

The capacity of A to bring about an effect on B that would not otherwise occur. Power is a line that runs from a sovereign, an interest, or an institution to a measurable outcome.

e.g. A statute → an enforced behavior.

Cubist
Prism

A means-specified, environment-conditioned act: A(m) → B(e). Power changes depending on the medium A acts through and the field B receives it in.

e.g. A pardon as legal act AND media spectacle AND symbolic claim at once.

Quantum
Vector

A field whose arrow A(m) 0—0(>) B(e) only completes under observation. Power names what stabilizes inside a Reality Band, not a fixed causal line.

e.g. An election result that remains in the band until a significant observer ratifies it.
